High temperature power plug, DIN Connector, Adaptor, Power Inlet, IEC Plugs High
temperature plugs are made from ceramic insulator and aluminum shell. This type
of plugs can be used for many applications such as heaters, injection moulding
machine, plastics manufacturing machinery, appliances and special applications
where high temperature is required. The plug shown above can handled 25 amperes
at 380 volts AC. It has two screws for wires hookup and a clamp for securing the
wires exit. Also this type of plugs comes with a rubber boot or stainless steel
spring. Lower temperature plugs are made from
many type of materials such as teflon(TEF), PFA, Nylon, PVC, Plastics, Kapton,
Mica, and rubber. The high temperature inlet
shown above comes with ceramic insulator washers and two threaded prongs at the
base for the wire hookup via threaded nuts. The inlet jack usually mounted to
a metal box for high temperature applications. The metal can be insulated with
rigid mica plate for extra dielectric safety. For low temperature applications,
the inlet jack can be mounted to plastic box. Below are photo of some medium temperature
inlet jack and plugs. |
